With the White Mountain ATB Quarters selling out recently, here are the mintage figures for the San Francisco minted uncirculated quarters:

White Mountain - 1,606,980*

Perry Victory - 1,398,340

Great Basin - 1,263,900

Fort McHenry - 1,229,300

Mount Rushmore - 1,212,260

* = Sold Out

These are on par with the 2012 S-Minted quarters.

Thanks for the mintage number. White mountain number is still below 2012 El yunque S mintage. It is a surprise to me. It means that the interest in the series stays about the same as the last year.

I would believe this is a sleeper series.
I believe the main cause of minimal demand is because there are no album slot for these and the Mint didn't launch these at the beginning of the series. It will take a while for people to catch on.

Two reasons why I am a bit turned off by them. I do have a few of them, for now housed in 2x2s.

I keeps the S mint ATBs in a blank Whitman Quarter album with the 2010 Satins. Who knows what other odd ball variety will show up in this series. Maybe the S mint marks will be replaced with Ws!

True.

I will probably add blank quarter pages to one of my "miscellaneous" Dansco albums.

I have a roll each of El Yunque and Chaco Culture that I bought from the Mint when they first came out. I liked the idea but just didn't want to spend any more money on rolls of clad coins. I'm hoping their value will increase someday...

I still have them in roll and a few in 2x2 flips.

I think one other reason that it dampen the demand for these is the cost. Each roll worth $10 and cost $18+ shipping from the Mint. AND the Mint did a NOT so great job of marketing these too.

If I have $20, it's going toward the collector edition pucks so I haven't bought any of these but I'm glad people are bringing them up so I'm a little more informed about them.

We have a few more years of the ATB Quarters so if I really love a design and want a roll I'll look for the "S" rolls.

According to the Mint, the -S ATB are intended for collectors only and only sold in roll (for the year the ATB is issue), just like the Half and Native American dollar.

So, if you like a particular design, make sure to get them from the Mint, aftermarket price usually higher.

The Mint introduced the S-minted quarters in 2012 for the collector market with a 40-coin roll and a 100-coin bag. In 2013, the Mint still had the S rolls and bags, but introduced the 3-roll set containing P,D,& S rolls. 2014 will carry over the same line up as 2013.

Interesting that even with the new 3-Roll P-D-S Set option, the White Mountain mintage still came in under the El Yunque.

My favorite thing about the "S" Quarters is that they are 2-3 grade points higher average than true business strike P and D Quarters (exception: my stash of Mount Rushmore-D's are almost "S" quality)

Rolls are nice, but the (single) three coin set has the proof S quarter...

The 2014 United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Set - " Great Smoky Mountains National Park features one uncirculated quarter from the United States Mint at Philadelphia, one uncirculated quarter from the United States Mint at Denver and one proof quarter from the United States Mint at San Francisco.
I only want one. I cannot buy just one.

Oh well, I just wait to get them from dealers at the coin show. Usually no more than a dollar each. I can live with that.
