Hello Forum People,

Ive got an possible german coin (billion?) in my collection. It weights 1,59 grams and I think it is possible German because of the eagle above the schield.

Wonder if someone knows more about this piece.

Is that a Bishop's mitre (or hat) at the top of the reverse? Could be some kind of Principality/Bishopric. Liege is one example, although this certainly isn't from there.

Good eye, alganbagerap! That mitre is for Franz Joseph Supersaxo, de jure prince-bishop of the Swiss canton of Wallis (Sion). We don't have the diameter, but this is likely a billon 1/2 batzen, given the 2 and 1 to either side of the arms, for the date of 1721.

It is 1/2 batzen. I checked the diameter 21 MM . Thanks alot for these fast answers. You found it really quick and I was not even close with germany haha.
