aladinslamp Pillar of the Community United States 3076 Posts	Posted 02/14/2014 12:20 am I've Been a Vammer for a while, as some of you may know me and my antiquated questions...And tenacity to discover, point's..references not readily given to discern privy pick up points for those golden VAM's they search for..That's why they are not told... AS I have studied like the well untold members here....... and there.....WE>>>HAVE..........Studied.. to know the basics.......and how to advance the theory and our studies.....Always HELPING our other brothers in study....to find and answer there question as it is our own search for higher knowledge.........FREELY given..... AS Long as they seek the learning base......There are many who post such a trifle pic and ask for the answer....many of us jump on it to use OUR KNOWLEDGE to solve THERE puzzle...without even trying the basics.... I have posted many an article...on how to guess the VAM or figure out how to use the process what info you have to seek the end result.....AS HAVE others... BUT WHAT I find offensive, in ALL or our willingness to give guidence to ANYONE....is the fact that they trough slight info here and there and WE are supposed to figure it out for them with no effort of themselves. Second guessing is just that........you see this or that..Crap the photo isn't even GOOD but the question is always.what is it... I'm HERE TO TELL YOU......Our cuase is from the heart.....to help, those with questions about VAMMING, BUT NOT TO SKIP TOUR LEARNNG CURVE..........PLEASE don't ask for advanced knowledge. without researching the basics your selves... WE all started some where, with no knowledge, and are guided by others..... asking questions with no info on your part means.....Joe Blow thinks he has a valuable coin.doesn't want to/or care...but the value of the coin....is why most sites will not include you to there info/knowledge....becuase your only about the money.......not the knowledge... If we want to help and give out advanced knowledge it is our choice. I like to always point them in the right direction, but the truth is, many people that come hear are very new to the hobby and things like varieties are not easy to pick up without a lot of studying and help from others. I find joy in helping others attribute and explaining the process to them. This is not a secret knowledge, it is more like a knowledge you have to get a degree to understand. We both have talked on the phone from time to time. You and I have seen some tackle the learning curve better then others. Gene remember my 1st question was "what's a master die"! Most people will seek knowledge in coins so they do not under sell coins they inherited, found or collected as a younger person. Most are asking or checking value, and that's OK. While we can't stop that for that matter why should we. Every river starts with a rain drop, and every fire starts with a spark! We are the "Spark" to start the fire. Just like in real life it takes many attempts to spark a Flame. The real question is " Are We up for the task" We are measured 2 ways in life. 1st is What we have money and such, property is not everything. 2nd and Most important is " WHAT WE LEAVE BEHIND" Your indelible calling card, knowing that knowledge you passed on will continue in a chain, cascading in generations after your gone. AND I guess that's why I started the " VAM IT" to long ago... to inspire new learners how to learn ho to VAM.... Perhaps..as I have been far to long from vamming..... I* might now infer.some advance thoughts..... as you all know it's not my understandings...... Russ, I have moved...But still have the same old emai8l address....But I must find the way to reach you..... For the REST OF YOU...... A site like this......bonds people together....Weather it be coins or photography..and then some... \Now back to the main theme......I aggree SO MANY HAVE HELD BACK there knowleddge, and that will not stop here..
