Does 666 grams sound about right? Edited by machine20 02/14/2014 11:09 am

622 grams, or 31.1 grams each. How many are in your roll?

Sounds about right, but I'm not completely sure

Sounds a little high. I would not expect the plastic roll to weigh nearly an oz and a half (troy).

31.101 x 20 + 44 = 666.02 (or real close to that number based on the variance in weight of the plastic tube)

I'd say that's close enough.

50 grams higher seems odd. Well, at least it's not 50 grams lower or we'd have a big problem here...

You need to put holy water on that roll or something! In all seriousness, the plastic in a roll of ASE's is usually a higher-density, stronger plastic that should, in theory, weigh more. I think it is totally within the variance. Just out of curiosity, where did you get it that would cause you to have concern?

What's to stop you from weighing just the plastic?
