just curious does numismatic value reflect what goes on with gold / silver prices or no its relatively stable ?

As it affects intrinsic value, it affects numismatic value. But not to the extent it affects any " numismatic " value of bullion coins.

Depends on grade. On higher end coins almost no effect, on lower end coins a lot of effect.

From 2009 until 2012 gold went from 800's to 1600... numis did not double in value in that same time period... conversely in late April of last year gold and silver dropped nearly 30% yet numis were unaffected ...

(the only exception is low grade numis which values are based solely on the PM content they contain ie: low grade commond date silver dollars)
