Not enough info. Need full coin pictures and then probably more close ups. There is a separate category for VAMs here on CCF, I am sure a moderator will come along and move the post there sometime.

You did not even give us the date and mint mark but I am going to guess it is an 1878 from some of the pictures you have uploaded.

We will still need a full picture of the reverse and a close up of "Trust". And a closeup of the viewer left wing/leg junction. Check through VAMs 100 to 200 it looks like a B2 reverse.

This guide will help you understand the reverses. http://www.vamworld.com/1878-P-2012...bution_guide

I notice it appears you have a clashed n on the obv.

I just found it by looking at all the clashed n VAMs (it just happened to be the first one I clicked on). It is a 131C2 or 131C3. if your coin has the die break on the O in OF it is the 131C3.

It is a B2A reverse.

http://www.vamworld.com/1878-P+VAM-131C2

You have the VAM 131C2, the 131C3 is just a later die state than what you have.

Nice find!
