Hello

I have a coin from a collection of WWII coins that says 10 dollars and United States of America on one side and the German name above on the back. It also says Europa Palast and Man Braucht on the German side. There is a picture below. I have searched the web inside out and backwards and have not found a trace of this coin anywhere. I would like to know what it is and how much it is worth.

Thanks,

Jake H.

"man braucht kein geld" was a 1931 movie that starred a man named Heinz Ruhmann. Any one read German?

Found a better link.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0022115/
I suspect it is a promotional piece to advertise the movie.

Thank you for the links from Rdwarrior. They were very helpful in confirming what I suspected from the research that I did after I posted this. Can anyone tell me approximately what year this coin is and/or what it is worth?

Also, If anyone can read German, I would like to know exactly what this coin says.

A rough translation is that Heinz Ruhmann solves the secret for you and that Man doesn't need money.
Europa Palast (Palace of Europe) presumably was the location where the movie was shown. (As you have already learned, Heinz Ruhmann was an actor.)
I have no idea about the date or value, sorry.
