waaay off topic, but:
I first reacted to the misspelling of "peace of mind"...
Then, being a dorky Iron Maiden fan,I realized my primary reference to that frase is from their 1983 album "Piece of Mind"

UP THE IRONS!

" "It is an important move for PCGS in Asia. We made this policy change because many collectors and dealers have told us they want peace of mind by having the best grade from the world's best grading company," explained Mr. Willis. "

"The World's best Grading Company"!!!!! I believe the day is near that this statement will not be as factual as Today.... Actually, From where I am seated, the day is here!!

So their two "big" announcements were:

1) They will now accept cross-over coins graded as PR70 or MS70 for consideration at a minimum grade of 70 at PCGS.

2) They have certified their 50 millionth collectible. Not coins, just collectibles. Of that number, around 29 million are coins.

----------------

Can someone explain to me how these are "big" announcements? Sort of anti-climactic IMO.

I believe that if you send a Modern proof coin and a TPG damaged it, they would just buy a new proof one to replace it. You wouldn't know the difference.
