You will notice that it does have a short and quite thin scratch above the eagles left wing. It's my opinion that the scratch would be considered an "acceptable" circulation artifact, but even in Detail grade this one ought to be in a slab (to address your larger purpose for posting these). This is the more-common (relatively speaking) low-mint mark Variety 1. I believe VF30 is appropriate. Actually, I don't think you've posted a coin which doesn't deserve a slab, if only for resale purposes. Report this Post to the Staff
