Here are two different 1945-s Micro S Mercury dimes I just picked up. I am practicing grading my Mercury dimes. I will watch for your posts to see if I graded them even remotely correct. My first attempt was way off..

Thanks all your input helps me to get better and I appreciate every post.

I also assume both of these are Micro S

wait, I think one of them is a normal S and the other one is a micro S?

1) EF-45,
2) F-15.

Both appeared cleaned, the second one more, with that said I am going to say first is EF-40, second F-15.

XF40 and F15. Both appear to be cleaned. The F15 looks to be a micro S

EF Details and F details

Coin #1 is not a micro S and has been over dipped

Train your eye for surface originality as part of your grading ventures

IMHO, both have been cleaned at some point.
