I thought this would be an easy pickup, but I was outgunned.
It's the Snow-1, described as a quadruple die--a few markers below.
The coin has EF details, but those scuff marks on the brow, cheek and ribbon put me off from bidding top dollar.
It's sorta funny what generates a bidding war on ebay.

I buy a lot of coins from John Schuch Rare Coin Investments, at shows and from him on ebay under fairtraderz, he always has fresh new stuff.

This IHC looks like it may have lived it's life in a Dansco or Whitman album from the horizontal scuff marks on the cheek, probably from the slide being moved across it too many times.

A TDO is a pretty neat variety however, and this one went for what is a fair price or a little under. I was thinking it's worth is around $42.00 does that sound about right for the variety and condition?

Possibly the scuffs were on the holder...but it was enough to tone down my bid.
I think full value would be easily $50, but I never bid on ebay that way...I go for value on my end.
Some people carpet-bomb ebay to get a coin; I fly under the radar and take a single shot.
