The black and white photo isn't this coin its for comparisons, I believe that one is a 3, if you look at the 2 and see how high above the 9 the hook runs higher than the 3,look closely and you can see the number through grease climbs above the 9 and trails down and cuts ti the right, you can see the tail of the 2, what do you think? Looks like a 2?

I'll admit it looks like a 2 in this pic. Grease or light strike? It does have some characteristics of a light strike.

A good focused picture of the entire obverse and reverse will tell what we need to know. I can't tell from the pictures provided.

Rim looks well struck so not a weak strike.

I found a similar coin last night (definitely a 1992). I'm interested in seeing if folks think what we are seeing here is grease, weak strike, both, other. Pretty sure that mine is a WAM though.

If it is a 92 Close AM does it make it any more valuable because it would have an error?

Perhaps to a small group of folks. My understanding is that folks are mostly interested in high grade coins of this type. I hope you found a CAM - a rare find.

Well I found three differences that can ID which year this coin is. It involves the jaw, date and bowtie. The images doesn't show these well, so I will post the differences for your examination.

So with close up images of these three areas, we will be able to tell for sure what year this coin is?
