Finally after last Sunday coin show I added a few more FSB Mercury dimes to my Album #1. Only 6 more to go to complete. Still needed is the 18D, 23S, 24S, 27S, 39S and naturally the 42D/41. Thought I found the 18D at the show but naturally, middle bans just not complete. I really shouldn't count the overdates but there are those slots in the Albums. Dealers keep telling me the 39S with FSB's just will not be found or at least easily. Sort of proud of the 16D with FSB's.

Quote: Sort of proud of the 16D with FSB's Are you nuts? I (and many others) would love to have "a" 16D period, let alone one with FB's. BTW, Great Looking Set! FYI the collectors friend is advertising a 39-S FSB VERY RARE MS65/6 BLAZER FSB $525

WOW! That is beautiful! I am upgrading a completed set and trying to get fsb's but many are way out of my price range and many are way overpriced. I have recently offered on a ms62 fsb 1921D, but it is about $500 overpriced and the seller is not moving. Anyway, your set is great.

Carl this set is amazing. You must have found a 1945.
The 16-D is the only Mercury I lack in my set, but I don't see myself ever obtaining one as nice as yours.

Quote: Carl this set is amazing. You must have found a 1945. Oddly enough at a coin show a dealer had one and didn't think to much about it. AND I wasn't about to tell him it was sort of a coin that should be a real expensive one. I always ask every dealer if they have FSB Merc's. So many times they say I'll have to look. Some say that is no big thing. As long as it is in a slab and graded as high as MS-64 or 65, that is what is important.
