Hello Forum members,

I have 2 coins in my collection. Which I think are coins from India / Otomman empire?

But I can't find them online comparing with alot of countrys. I am wondering if someone knows more? Or can give me some hints?

Hope to hear from you!

Best wishes,
Vincent

Hello Rooneydog,

Nice found the first one. Didn´t had an clue. I think this one is the overdate 1380-79. As you can see the V on the reverse V. Most common date. It seemed older at the first time. Just 50 years ago is the first coin.

I think your second coin is from Iran (or Persia, same thing). I recognize the crown that graced Iranian coins until 1979 and the overall style and date (AH1312, I think) all matches. But I cannot find a coin that has the crown so prominently in the center with nothing else around. It may be some kind of medal.
