My first 1913 D Type 1, picked up at a show this weekend. The dealer and I settled on a grade, I'll let everyone know what that was in a couple of days. Find out if I got a good deal or not? What do you think?

Certainly XF.
Might even sneak in as an AU-50.
I can see the tip of the horn and the tail is split.

Thanks everyone for your grade. Appreciate the feedback.

So the dealer priced it at EF-40, pretty consistent with how everyone graded, and maybe it's even better!

I think it's right in the range you say EF40/45 it is a very nicely struck piece.
