I have this Peace dollar I ended up a while ago. It's been sitting in a drawer. I'm not really much interested in it. Just curios of value. Worth keeping or selling?

PCI graded. I've had trouble trying to find a solid value for it. Prices seem to be all over the place and hard to ind for PCI.

Quote: Who graded it? It's a newer PCI holder. Generally they are over graded by a point or two. We would need to see close up pictures to accurately grade the coin. PCI isn't generally isn't too far off, but they usually over grade by a point or two.

Close ups of the Obverse (Front) and Reverse (Back) would help. Also, to CCF!

I think MS65 is too high a grade -- but I'm no expert on the matter. The value drops dramatically -- at least according to Numismedia. MS65 is $150, MS63 is $50. You might want to post it in the VAM section. I think there are 3 or 4 varieties for this year in the Top Fifty VAMs.

With those milk spots, 63 is about as high as I would go.

It appears to have good luster with scattering of marks in fields and some notable marks on chin and neck of obverse and across the eagle's feathers on the reverse. From what I can discern from the photos I would grade it MS63.

Nice clean coin, with what looks like a pretty good strike for a '23. Overgraded, as PCI was notorious for in that generation, but still no worse than MS63. The value-added varieties for this issue are characterized by prominent features - die breaks in the hair or wing, obvious doubling - of which I see none in this coin. Not 100% certain but the OP covered most of the necessary areas in the detail images. Only thing lacking is the point of the shoulder, where VAM-1O shows a chunk taken out of the die.

I agree with 63, and a chance at 64.
