I came across a bullion round, that the seller has described as being limited to 8888oz only. Each one being 1oz thus making 8888 of them. Do you think this is a good purchase?

What do you guys think about this?

25 Pounds for a Anonymous Silver round is ridiculously high. The value of any "collector" bullion round is not only increased by a low supply (Mintage) but also a high demand. I can bet you that there is no demand per-say for this particular round. So it's pretty much worth Silver content plus maybe a $2-$3 premium. I know this because I have bought several 2oz rounds with mintage's of 2,000-5,000 for a $5 premium (Which is $2.5 per oz).
So at 25 Pounds which converts to 41 USD you are paying a very high price (Almost 2x Spot).

I did a bit more research and the guys who are minting this stuff are bullion buyers-now sellers aswell. I think from Australia, they worked on getting my local bullion seller Atkinsons to be the exclusive seller of the product in Europe for there first round. And a quick glance at Atkinsons shows me they are not there, may well be for all the reasons you just stated.

I just wasn't sure whether a low mintage would have any increase on value, thank-you for your advice :).

The price is insane and the artwork looks like it came from the mind of a hallucinating adolescent with serious substance abuse problems. This
round might have some meaning to the members of the South Gippsland club, to me it's just one more silly anti-establishment "protest" round.

Even another incredibly lame 1oz silver round... thank God, we were running low on those!
