That is Die Deterioration. It always flows toward the rim. Right side and left side in the direction toward the rims.

There's a lot of these 1992 on ebay listed as Doubled die's either through lack of knowledge or they just don't care as long as they can make a buck off it

yeah The Zinc coins are not my favorite. Due to this sort of strike, its only a matter of time before they start to rust and fall apart. I steer clear of zincs altogether. Once the BU copper bags go out of stock, then I'll move onto Silver Morgan dollars. = )
