Ms 60 original. Nice hairline. Yes the hairline says mint state to me.

Is that luster? Are the photos scans (looks flat, but with luster waiting to burst)?
I have zoomed my IE browser to 200% twice now...and I am not seeing an AU coin. BUT, would like to see a better picture.
Washington's don't always have the sharpest strike, hence, the need for a little better picture.
In all honesty, I am seeing an MS63/64 Washington. There is a small hit on the obverse and another on the reverse, but looks nice.

Looks original and it looks MS to me. Possibly in the 63/64 area.

I think this is a MS-61 or 62. I have several of these. Its not cleaned. Most of the ones I've seen cleaned, the biggest tell tail, aside from scratches if its been a harsh clean, is the crud or dirt that gets left in the details of the devices. This is a very clean (not been cleaned) Washington IMO. For some reason the later silvers get this cloudiness to the luster. I've seen it on all decades of Washingtons, I have a 35 that looks like this, but for some reason I see it mostly on the ones form the 60s. Could be just that there are more of them. I think as word started to spread in the 60s that silver was going to be pulled more people started hoarding. I think if your luster were better this would be 63 or 64. I'm with Mikey07nj on this too...the hair lines on Washington's wig are a great detail to use to determine mint state. I do have some MS Washingtons where the hairlines are not strong tho and do seem to be missing, but these are just weak struck MS coins. All that to say, weak details in Washinton's hair doesn't always mean its circulated. Nice George!

That's a solid MS63 Washington. I'll wager $100 + grading fees if anyone wants to take that.
