I have a bunch of clear coin tubes that are cylindrical in shape from years back. I need a few more and see some stackable ones that are opaque but have square tops and it says "stackable" and will take wrapped coins. Are these any better or worse than the old clear style?

They're really the same storage wise. It's just a personal choice for style.

Okay - I just wondered if one style was more durable, safer for the coins, and so forth.

I've seen those square ones for sale at coin shows but they just don't sell. Not sure why but seams like once people start with the round ones, they stick to something they know.

I like the square ones because you can put them back in the coin box you get from the bank and store them nice and neat.

I have ordered a few of the square ones and will give feedback when they arrive.

They came in - nice and sturdy - stack nicely on top of each other and store nicely in a rectangular box. Only minor negative might be that you cannot see through them but I use labels anyhow.
