Hahaha well heres the problems Coop shows the biggest one!!
2. Its a mint set coin from the denver mint.. The I in liberty is missing the second most notable feature of the coin Coop's picture being the first MAJOR feature of the ACCENTED HAIR KENNEDY lol
These are proof only coins and according to my research one set of dies when the presidents widowed wife turned down the design the mint chief engraver had new dies drawn up and BOOM your 1964 coommon type 2 proof half dollar..

They do this because they honestly don't know what they have and they're trying to get the best price for whatever coin they have. I'll bet dealers like this look at the MS63 column and assume that every coin they have commands the top price.

Coop's Most notably way of finding it as pictured was the way I learned with the next being the stars.. I never knew about the I till now...thanks for the quick lesson

The First image is a GIF that turns the border red/green. It shows a normal proof coin and an accented proof coin. The green shows the wish bone that is the ID for the accented hair.

My PUP is always the I in liberty then the hair flip it over look for the stars and ironically heres my AHK my unicorn my holy grail in my 1964 p&d&proof kennedy box
