Thought I would share my best toned Lincoln. The pictures definitely do not do it justice. The colors range from deep purple, to blue, to orange and red. I tend to think it is artificial toning, but the best part of it is, I found it in a bank roll for face value.

Artificial or not, I LOVE the crazy color on this coin!

Nice find! I love when I find stuff like that. Toned Lincolns are my favorite for sure!!

I have always found toned copper a bit overlooked. Even though I prefer toned silver I love that coin. Great find indeed!

I need to hunt rolls just for cool stuff like this...I keep sayin this but still I've done nothing about it

Too bad you couldn't make that into a large painting. Now here is an idea. Try photographing that coin and enlarging it enough to put in a frame. Might continue to tone so that would preserve what you now have.
