Hello Forum Members,

Ive got some error coins. But I wonder how rare these are? One is 50 centimes spain some kind of overstrike close to the 5 of 50 centimes? But from what?

Second is 200 mark with an strange edge. Normally it don't has one. Also looks double strike to me.

Also got some others

I am not familiar with the 200 mark so I will refrain from commenting on that one but the 50 centimes is affected by die clashing.

Frankly speaking, it looks live the 200 mark piece actually is quite worn or mutilated. I do not see any type of error on it. It is so called PMD (post mint damage)

I agree on the second one, but have to say that this is also quite common on these pieces. It will not get a high premium, but still is an interesting piece to discuss the way coins were made and what can go wrong during this minting process.

Re the 200 mark piece, just wondering if it's been struck on a ‘wrong' planchet as the edge you show looks to me like a security edge seen on some coins.

Thank you for your reactions. However I don't have an second 200 mark piece to compare the edge. It makes it harder. But I know the ones I had didn't have an edge like on this piece.
