For anyone looking for resources or books on coins from around the world - Open Directory is a great research tool, not just for coins, but for just about anything you are looking to find.

I've found quite a few sites through it, I otherwise would have never seen.

The ANS library is probably the largest specialist numismatic library in the World. Over 100,000 references.
I have reasonably good personal access to a library that is perhaps a quarter of the size of that of the ANS.
It belongs to a leading coin dealer.

Nice sel! I used to live right down the road from the ANA Library (Dwight Manley Numismatic Library now). Any ANA member can access their library through the mail for only the cost of postage, which added with the Numismatist magazine every month makes the ANA such a good deal in my mind.
