I Have a couple of strong subjects I wanted to be checked and verified.

I noticed the conversation between Rackster.John 1, Coop and Collectors Corner and thought it the perfect to start next post. Trying to decide the combination of coins to be submitted.

As I'm getting an submission ready no. The topic helped make up my mid on which next variety to check/confirm/grade to help decide.

Maybe three or four to check. I'll do my very best on pics and keep it simple. Let me know on any adjustments on pics you might require.

There is very very little adjustment to pictures.the coin looks pretty much the same as in pics

Very Nice rainbow toning and reverse. Nice overall. Thanks...Joey

Sorry Joey, this is not DDO #1. It looks like a normal cent to me.

Sorry Joey, I know you are trying hard, but it is not a DDO. Also, I hope this helps: the cent has what is known as an "Orange Peel" surface which is not desirable to collectors. Keep looking though, your enthusiasm will find you a true treasure soon. We are all rooting for you.

Yeah, I was noticing that orange peel the fact. I've heard gas bubbles mentioned another posts was wondering if its that or something with the lamination.

Sudz, that's really cool. yeah it's one thing to provide me your great suggestion and information Shared. But need material to work with. And view with my own eyes which really hel. So I can apply the knowledge you Provide.more post upcoming do my best to make a quality.
Question, are the pics of 2 level. or even better?.

I have a few more that need to be checked I just chose this one at random didn't have them in order . some real choice UNC. and few others.

just, I thought I saw something in coin and wasn't sure.
I know 1 of them I saw to complete package. Burst out before my eyes. like a dummy I just placed it with the otHers. I'll know it when I see it. But they're all candidates. Question, is it OK to post multiples on 1 post. Like 2 or 3. Or no more than 2 which do you prefer. let me know. I'll get pics of the red one going. While I wait for response

joey,
With all do respect you should invest in a good point and shoot camera or a USB digital microscope right away. With good pics comes good advice. All I see on your 1984 is a lot of gas bubbling, very common.I recommend you study the pics on coppercoins.com for awhile and get familiar with what you are trying to cherry pick.Good luck with your hunt.

Hi Joey - John's advice is good for us all; read, read, read (I hear an old friend's voice in my head as I typed that). Good luck with the prioritization - post back if you need help from the members.

Even as small as your images are, you should be able to see the doubled ear.

Looking closer at this hub doubled die, it is just not the ear that is affected, also the beard is enlarged under the normal beard.

I've still not found one in circulation. So keep looking. When you do find one, it will leap out at you. It is that obvious.
