I would like to catalogue the coins I have. I use SSDC site for Morgans and Peace dollars but would like to find a place dedicated to just store pics all my coins with variety details etc. I guess photobucket would work but it gets cluttered with pics of other items. Just curious to see what others use.

Doesn't photobucket provide folders to members? Have one folder just for coins.CCF also has a section for members to store pics.

I have two different Business servers I put mine on. They get backed up quite frequently to external hard dives.
I also will store them separately on a external hard drive connected to my workstation.

There are wireless Storage devices that can be used as well. If your looking for places online that are free or low cost, I can't be of much help. I have heard that dropbox, inkfrog and a few other places will allow some space, but since I don't need those services others will have to chime in.

I don't know your intent..... is it to store pics online, then using URL or a website link, then you can post pictures on this site, avoiding the 100KB limit here? Or is it just for personal storage of pictures?

I store everything locally on my computer, organized by folder and file, and only put online the images I need to post. I back up to optical storage regularly. Then again, I have 30,000 images on harddisk and probably another 20,000 besides on DVD....

photobucket.

2GB free (I just started, so far 200 images = less than 2MB), 10GB free if you download their smartphone app.

as far I can see you can create as many different albums (folders) as you want.
