My daughter works at tim horton's here in Canada and phones me once and awhile when she finds an interesting coin for me, she keeps a pocket full of change to change out for the coins she finds. Todays haul for me today! Canadian nickels. 4-1937 with dot on all 2-1938 4-1939 4-1940 1-1941 3-1942 1-1944 2-1946 3-1947 1 with a maple leaf at the end of the 7 (I think) 1-1949 1-1950 1-1952 1-1956 She said that it was all in one roll.
Yes, it's good to hear that your daughter understands the significance. I'm getting both of mine to understand otherwise I'm sure that the bulk 'change' lying about would be rolled up and cashed in a face value or spent on ice cream or candy....yikes!!
