Hi guys...had this 1974 nickel that was placed on railway tracks some years ago..I used to do this when I was a kid..Glad it wasn't a 1926 far nickel...Now the authorities will knock on my door for defacing money..haha

or maybe it is a severe struck through off center Die Deterioration wrong planchet error. lol. brings back fond memories.

robmck1967..I think you forgot a die chip...ya..i think I see one...haha..ya, kids now would probably not even think of doing a stupid thing like putting coins on a track with the train 500 feet away and coming fast...yikes
