Nice looking coin ... somewhat weakly struck as evidenced by the fact that 5 of the 13 obverse stars are flat and not filled.

Question in my mind is whether the weakness in the hair below Ms. Liberty cornet is strike or circulation rub ... impossible to judge without the coin in hand.

Only you can tell us ... is the original mint luster unbroken at the weak spot in Ms. Liberty hair?

If so ... MS64 or so ... if not ... AU55/58 slider.

David

Hard to see the surfaces in that pic, looks like it may have a couple of rim dings... I'll go with a MS-63. It is a beautiful coin, thanks for sharing.

Not sure what is the marking at the bottom of the reverse, assuming nothing bad, I would say MS-63. Very nice!

If not an AU-58, it's a nice 63.

Thanks guys for takin' the time to look and give your opinions...I started a F-EF set of these last year because I really liked the design, the set was small and only a couple of really high dollar pieces in the set. I figured why not...I also have an affinity for the old worn out coin...but as these have grown on me...now I really want to put a *nice* set together...man this hobby is a sickness.
