1959-D 1MM-005 Triple D RPM

This is one of the prettier coins I bought earlier this week.

It appears to match all the LDS markers on CC.

#1 A nice tilted extra punching shows spread far to the southwest, and #2 the primary mintmark shows a #3 tilted spread as doubled serifs.

Cool purchase !
I was lucky on my 1959-D bag. I have like 25 of these that I am holding onto for now.
I almost like neat looking RPM's over a DDO and DDR.... notice I said almost.... = Þ

Awesome.. I seen a few better examples where the southwest punch is more defined.. I had checked some 1959-d rolls but my sample size was only 6 rolls so no luck in the wild yet. Searching a full sealed bag must be fun...

I agree with LDS. I just checked the CONECA disk for markers and the Vertical die scratches through the date are there. Nice find.

Stage A: Obverse is EDS
Die crack on columns #1 and 11 â€" LDS
Die chip on column #12
Depression at Right eave
Die chip under Right crossbar of T of CENT
Die crack on upper O of ONE

Stage B: Die scratch North from upper Y of LIBERTY â€" EMDS
Reverse die changed â€" EDS

Stage C: Light die crack North-South in hair â€" MDS
Light die crack on forehead
Reverse is EMDS

Stage D: Obverse is LMDS
Die break at Right eave â€" MDS

Stage E: Obverse is LDS
Small die break outside lower column #12 â€" LMDS
