Rackster Pillar of the Community United States 4809 Posts	Posted 04/09/2014 11:25 am I see nickels like this from time-to-time but have attributed them to being worn that way from a turnstile type device (e.g. candy/toy dispensing) that catches the rim and wears it down. Often times the nickel is in rather nice condition otherwise. Just a theory though.... Report this Post to the Staff
