Obverse rim is perfectly round all the way around the coin. Back EPU looks like a weak strike. Is this a minting process error or done post mint?

Possible a coin left into a commercial clothes dryer that damaged the obverse.

Just for GP's weigh the coin.
If you can prove it's on a wrong planchet that's big bucks.
But you'll have to get a TPG to confirm that.

I see nickels like this from time-to-time but have attributed them to being worn that way from a turnstile type device (e.g. candy/toy dispensing) that catches the rim and wears it down. Often times the nickel is in rather nice condition otherwise. Just a theory though....
