Poll Question
There are so many beautiful designs in the half dollar series, it is tough to pick a favorite, although I would have to say mine is the Franklin half.

What is your favorite U.S. half dollar design?

I like Seated halves they are big enough you can see the design plus they were minted in Philadelphia, New Orleans, San Francisco and Carson City over the course of 52 years.

Plain UGLY coin (IMHO) Sad event for the country......

Making matters worse ... changing the hair design. (I know she was beyond grief with this unbearable lose.

Kennedy was loved, and was cut down in his prime.

Then the next year ... took half the silver. Whole $.50 thing was awful. Poorly handled.

Walker's are my favorite but you can't beat the looks of an XF, AU, or BU Seated Liberty or Capped Bust.

Walkers are by far my favorite. Seated coins (arrows and rays to pick a favorite type) and draped Bust Lg. Eagle come in a close second.
