It is a normal coin. The devices are normal sized. The tops of the date have some flattening/contact marks across the top making it appear doubled, but it is not. The bottom of the mint mark/date is showing some die movement on the 84. Not a doubled die. Sorry

It's kind of curious though that the 1984 cents seem to have that optical delusion working. I must admit that there are three dates where I double take, but none more than the 1984 cents.

I agree Rackster 89 d gets me too But regardless this fella is a permant fixture in my collection I have purchased and some multiples but every mint set from 1958-2013 aside from 2012 for some reason I bought all those coins chunk by chunk. Only a few duplicates have not been used and this will replace a less than stellar 84 d it looked like something but still a gorgeous mint state Lincoln Cent!

Definitly see it coop, very interesting coin. Would this be something caused from the master die from the rehub processes? If I am saying that right

They are listed as class 2 or 6 or 2+6. Which the last three digits are affected more than the rest.
