Took quite awhile but I finally completed my Roosevelt dime Collection. Now I was only going after the Silver (1946-1964) time frame. Most are BU a few are AU and there are a few in circulated condition so my challenge now will be to find the upgrades for those that aren't BU. You can see the entire collection http://coins.scootsbrewotr.com/dm-roosevelt.shtml. Here's a few shots of the collection as well. I've now completed my Jefferson nickel and Roosevelt dime collection. I've got about 90% of the Lincoln cents so I might try to finish that one off next. Thanks for looking!

Well done. Feels good to complete a set. I just did the same thing ... also with a silver Roosie set.

srs77, Congratulations on completing this great looking set. My silver Rosie set does not look nearly as good as yours as it is made up of circulated, CRH, and scrap silver finds.
I am still short the 2009P and both 2014 from completing the set to date.

Quote: Congrats, I feel that is a very under appreciated set. Thank you! I agree completely. One of the reasons I wanted to complete it (at least the silver portion). I will definitely continue now on to complete the set through current year. Quote: I am still short the 2009P and both 2014 from completing the set to date. Good Luck in completing it and I'd love to see some pics!

Now, what is the reason why Roosevelt was put on the dime? He was the first [deceased] contemporary president to be selected and the reason was quite appropriate.

Would've been cool if they had included his cigarette/holder clenched between his teeth.

Congratulations.
If the rest of the set looks as good as those 4 do it must be stunner.

Congratulation. It's one of the set I first started with but have been delaying it (I was gonna complete a high end BU set but stalled for a few years already, distracted by other coins). I did however, completed the circulated version in Whitman album. Btw, one great resources of being CCF member is you can put up a want list on here and will be able to get a lot of help. I personally have extras of most of the common series (especially Lincoln & IHC) and I usually check the Buy/Trade section to help out other members.
