DBM Pillar of the Community Canada 9866 Posts	Posted 04/12/2014 1:12 pm Look at the maltese cross at the top of the reverse crown,if it has a dot in the center it's the large 8, if it has a cross struck over it's a small 8. I believe this is illustrated quite well in Charlton's. Your pics are too unclear for me to identify variety or offer a grade opinion. I don't have the coin in hand yet, it will ship as soon as the seller gets back from CICF. Although, I paid a Small 8 price for the coin so having it as Large 8 would be a miracle.
