Are they only on proofs or business strikes? biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 04/15/2014 4:09 pm All of the re-engraving was done on proof dies, there were way too many business strike dies to give them that level of attention. I do remember a Numismatic News article on this subject from several years ago although I was not able to find it after a brief search through the Numismaster.com archives. I still find most book are ok for history and stories but for learning reading here works for me those b&w dot matrix photos in the books drive me nuts.. Report this Post to the Staff
