Is there any way to tell undated SLQ to be 1916 aside from 1917? Thank you for the help!

the bolts on the shield, if I'm not mistaken.

In other words "yes" on the ID of the dateless qtrs and the grading services (ANACS for sure) will slab the 16's.

There is a difference in the shield bolts as well between 1916 and 1917. I just don't have the comparison image on my phone.

I will post it soon.

Or you could post the one that you are looking at for a faster response.

I always look at the wall lines on the viewers right. They are much stronger on the 1917 coins.
