'72 From a bankroll. Is DDO. I'll submit for grading later picture. Took picture while I was out. And when I get home I make a better picture. Just wanted to do quick 1 on the road. Any ideas?

Yeah...need better pictures but I am going to take a guess and say Master Die Doubling. I think I can kinda make it out on the "N" in IGWT. Here is a link...scroll down towards the bottom. Does it look like this? http://doubleddie.com/203801.html

Agreed need better pics. As described above, the 1972 year, all mints and proofs were plagued with a master hub issue. They struck about 1.8 Billion coins with this issue.

The 1972 worthless doubling has;
As described by Jayman, an extremely thin "N" ontop of the "N" on the word "IN.
The "T" in LIBERTY, the top crossbar should have an additional bar ontop of it.

On a true 1972 DDO, the legs of the "T's" in TRUST are almost double wide. There should be a vertical line that runs the entire leg of the "T's".

The 1972 year was also plagued with Machine Doubling. If the "72" of the date look like steps, its more than likely Machine Doubling (MD).

Maybe with better pics, it can be proven a DDO, time will tell.

Joey: When you get a batter camera setup then you will get better answers. It is hard when we see over pixelated images. Save all you coins that you find interesting and post them when you get a better camera setup. A scope/loupe can be used to take images. But a good camera with a macro feature is beneficial and a scope is a lot easier on the eyes. If you would like some suggestions, you can email me or ask the question in a new thread so that many will benefit with the discussion.

If you see anything like this on your coin, it is master die doubling.
