Hello,

I am having difficulty seeing any notching in the IGWT of this IKE half.

Consequently, I do not understand how a doubled die can be substantiated for this coin.

Prove me wrong with closer and enlarged photos and I will learn something new.

I based my comments from an older but extremely informative CCF thread on DDRs and DDOs:

Please tell me your opinion.

On the lower right portion of the N G and the T. I see some splitting in the serifs, but not sure if that is the coin or pic.

I see the notching, but this is pretty minor. You may or may not find a match for this one. When you look too closely at something the doubling may show, but little interest may be found for it. I would save it. But that is just me.

Coop is right its one of the MANY doubled eisenhowers. There is so many that they are very hard to attribute, that being said there on several die varieties known DDR DDO and what not.. The eisenhower series is a very complicated bunch of coins... Like any large coin the devices are larger and easier to see the slightest variance in the devices.. I enjoy them they are plentiful and a very good series for training the eye and gaining needed experience..
