Jon Brand Pillar of the Community United States 1023 Posts	Posted 04/21/2014 8:59 pm I have several quarter eagles with more details on the wing then this one but it was graded XF by the dealer I purchased it from. The back is more worn then my other "XF" coins- but now that I look at the others, the obverse of this one does have more detail then the others. Therefore, if one side appears more "worn" than the other, alternate reasons should be explored for the difference. Below AU, I'm expecting headdress detail to be disappearing. So, perhaps this is not the best of strikes, but I don't know enough about the series to form a solid opinion. Except that this one's an easy XF, and maybe AU. Report this Post to the Staff
