These are rare coins but there are also forgeries around.

Your coin appears to have been mounted so you may get more than silver value ($11) from a collector.

It's always difficult to value a damaged coin and they're much more difficult to sell.

I'm sticking my neck out but I doubt you'll get more than $25 (assuming it's genuine) from a collector.

Even having been mounted it's still worth upwards of $50.

Thank you both for your reactions. I am wondering how many roubles this one is? Is this 1,5 or more? Or just one rouble according to lijin?

For example on this website you have the following 5 roubles?
http://www.m-dv.ru/catalog/id,2291/prohod.html

And also 1,5 roubles:

Looks the same to me. But you have probably more varities. Hope someone could help me with that.

Coins struck in Warsaw are much less common compared to coins struck in St. Petersburg. I think you may be able to pull through about 50 dollars at most becaused of the damaged condition however is worth slightly more because of the mintmark.

I'm not understanding you question vince. The coin is 1 rouble, not 1.5 or 5 roubles. It is written right on the coin.

Hello Numismat,

I ment on this link below. You see that according to according to Petrov and Lijin is 5 Rouble coin. Maybe I read the lyrics wrong. But the coin is the same. Just another name by these Petrov and Lijin.

In 14 edition (last) Konros Russian Coins 1700-1917
1844 rouble eagle WB золотника catalog number 79.146
250 US dollars in VF conservation
Here in Russia probably you could get more dollars than in US for your coin but how many more? I can not say
