Proof Or Proof-Like? -- An 1886-P Morgan

WheatBack Pillar of the Community United States 2850 Posts	Posted 04/23/2014 5:50 pm I found this Morgan a little while ago and it was with a bunch of other Morgans of various conditions. Right away the detail and the impressive mirrored surfaces that have a golden (and purple-ish in some spots) tone caught my eye. Could this possibly be a circulated proof that somehow entered circulation WAY back or do I have a run of the mill PL Morgan? I tried to get as many photos as I could that could show its surfaces (see if you can see the button I used and also used my finger) as well as its color. EDIT: Somehow my photos got turned vertical.
