Just grabbed this at the local coin shop, it looks MUCH nicer in person. More luster, eye appeal and the scratches don't show as they do in pictures taken under sunlight. The seller graded it Choice AU. I haven't decided which images to stick with.

Yeah I didn't realize the scratch was that noticeable when I picked it up. You can hardly see it in person. It took bright light at the right angle to make that thing appear. Things like that sometimes surprise me when taking photos.

Very nice, despite the scratch. Sometimes cameras catch the light on small details.

Hm. It's a nice coin, but $150 is a bit steep, IMO. Again, IMHO.

Yeah- It was a bit less then that but perhaps still steep. I would love to get some of your insight, Cruisinfusion. Would you mind shooting me a message? jonbrand83@gmail.com

I think I need to research Snows, WAMs, Overtons because it would be helpful to keep up with you all.
Do you have any links oih8?

I paid 130. What should it be listed as by a seller? I gotta say it shines and looks much better in person. You dont see the flaws.

You may want to remove your email address before it gets picked up by bots that search forums for active emails to spam.

Not to be a downer but $130 is a steep price to pay for a coin that might not grade due to the scratches shown in the photos.

I don't have any links for Snow Varieties...and there are lots of them, just not public like VAM's...that I am aware of.

I'm new to the varieties you mentioned, too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from reading posts since my first visit to CCF, Overtons have to do with Capped Bust coinage, Snows have to do with IHCs, and VAMs have to do with Morgans and Peace dollars.
