Great cherry Coop! Aren't you glad everyone doesn't look for these. Nice coin!

I don't have it in hand just yet, but here is a 1876-CC Trade dollar with what is probably one of the strongest doubled dies in all of US coins. Look at the reverse at the eagle wing on the right and the branch on the right side. There is doubling everywhere, but most prominent there. The image uploaded is not uploading my cropped picture so here is the link to Heritage. http://coins.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleN...120311203524It was in an older ANACS slab and unattributed. My goal is to get it attributed and crossed to PCGS. We will see.

The "best" aren't here, those are the Morgan dollar DDO / DDR VAM's MS65/66 that are tucked away in the King Kong Safe. But here is one that I recently purchased. An ANACS MS-65

ndwlegal Then you haven't seen the 1958 Lincoln Cent DDO. That is one doubled coin, as well as the 1955 DDO Lincoln. Then its the 1969-S and 1972 Lincoln's as well. To get those four coins in MS-63 will cost you about 250,000.

If you could buy by the 1958? There are only two known.

Two that are known is right. I wonder how many were actually passed out at that party /meeting /special tour.... The others are being kept pretty silent, if you know the story behind why.
