I ran across this IHC--interesting or not? Seems like one of the more severe cases I've seen on an IHC. I'm relieved it's not the DDO.

What really helps this one is the better grade--easy to tell what's wear are what can't be. I'm pretty sure that's why the ribbon is blurry.

I tend to agree with you on the ribbon part. You can see that circle around the right half of the coin affecting the outer half of the feathers all the around to the beads. Neat looking coin.

Interesting coin, although I haven't found much of a market for greased indians. Good thing the grease isn't over LIBERTY! (unlike my 1877 that is Struck Through Grease).

Looks like it may be grease filled to me, you can see the bottom part of STATES and the date looks filled to my eye.
