Here is another coin recovered from the federal-era foundation. This was only a foot or so down and came out with a 1816 that I'll post later. I'd appreciate your stabs at grading this one as well.

that one looks to have vf details to me. Some verdicare would help remove the green spots and help conserve the coin.

Very nice! Great finds. My only non-modern find so far have been two large cents. But I just got permission to hunt a wonderful place... I'm going to make a post about it soon... But I'm quite excited to check it out! And  , around VF details

Super nice find. I'd say VF-20. Use Acetone and try get that muck off and maybe it won't come out as a details.

I agree with VF details. Will add that the surfaces look great for ground find! And a R3 to boot; great find!  Acetone and then some Verdicare and it will be even more attractive.
