Here is another coin recovered from the federal-era foundation. This was only a foot or so down and came out with a 1816 that I'll post later. I'd appreciate your stabs at grading this one as well.   |

that one looks to have vf details to me. Some verdicare would help remove the green spots and help conserve the coin.

Very nice! Great finds. My only non-modern find so far have been two large cents. But I just got permission to hunt a wonderful place... I'm going to make a post about it soon... But I'm quite excited to check it out! And  , around VF details Edited by NathanASE

Super nice find. I'd say VF-20. Use Acetone and try get that muck off and maybe it won't come out as a details.

I agree with VF details. Will add that the surfaces look great for ground find! And a R3 to boot; great find!  Acetone and then some Verdicare and it will be even more attractive. |
