My tracker says Wednesday now for the Ag sets, darn it. I did receive something else from the mint today so that should keep me happy for a while. Looking like I'll have things delivered almost every day next week.

That tracker always adds a day or two. You should get them a day after it hits your local postal DC.

It was brought up on Mint News Blog. Take a good look at your quarters in this set. Mine have odd lines running through the Washington side across his face. Looking straight at the coins they aren't seen - but if you roll the coin holder around you'll see them.
I don't see these on any of the other coins - just the quarters.

Just got mine today; you were correct, OldSkool.
And mine also have the lines on George (all 5 on one set and 3/5 on the other set and not as noticeable as the 1st set). What are people doing about this, if anything?

If mine arrive in that condition then it's 1-800-USA-MINT.

Mine have them too. If we ask for a replacement, they will probably have the lines too seeing as how it appears everyone is seeing them

Then I suggest to keep sending them back and when you call you can ask the nice people on the other end in IN to attach a note to them about Quality issues.
I haven't gotten mine to date BUT after the problems I personally had with the 2013 LE set and Most of my Proof purchases that I received in both silver and just proof for the years 2012,2013, and 2014 I wouldn't hesitate to return them.
The people at the return end are Very helpful and they don't like having to deal with these issues either. As long as your nice to them and tell them you realize it's not a fault on there part personally then they will try to get you through it as quickly as they can.
I even had them send me the items overnight back to me at NO charge to myself. Not sure if that's standard but I was expecting to wait another 2 weeks and it was a very nice surprise to get them in 2 days.
Any way, hopefully myself or anyone else will NOT have to go through it again, but, If wishes were rainbows.....
I'll let you know how mine are when I get them.
Good Luck.

The two sets I ordered from the US Mint both have these lines as does the set I just picked up to break out. I've yet to see a set without the lines through Washington if viewed at the proper angle.

Yep, those are the lines; great shot AES. Mine vary from that nearly-vertical orientation to a 45° orientation across George's portrait.
Bad die polishing?

$53.95 is the list price at the mint. Do large customers get a discount if they buy a large quantity?

They must get a discount Celtic, at least I would think otherwise they are loosing money. I through it out there since the mint charges shipping and this deal is free shipping.

I can only think they must. To offer at the Mint's price and eat the shipping... well...

Just sent mine back. All five have the same marks, so the defect is either in the hub, or they reuse that die. I think someone fell asleep in front of the polishing wheel.
