I love this thread. Way to go! Wish I could go to one of these and pick out some nice old coins.

Thanks jbuck. Duncanbishop, I'm assuming you mean the 1924 chile 24 centavos, and no its not silver. Unfortunately.

Quote: 1000 rubles, this thread loves you too. Shucks Again some more great finds! I love some of the leaders depicted on the large copper coins, you just can't beat nineteenth-century beards!

Not very much good finds out at the swap meet recently. A 40% half and the following coin is about all that's worth mentioning. 1975 Franklin mint member token. Sterling silver. I think I may have found a bronze version of a 1907 Panama 1/2 centisimo but still not sure. I'll get pics of it uploaded soon. Thanks for looking! P.S. any instagram users on here? Check out my profile by the same name, keepcalmandcoinon.

Good finds for a swap meet. I hit my local flea market about once a month. Persistance pays off. Last week I scored 2lbs of sterling silverware for $25, 2 nice 1928 $2 bills, and 3 Morgans for $16 ea. They arent culls, but not the prettiest........

Thank you ksammut! Jbuck, I hope so. The past few months have gotten me spoiled. Lol Coinaddict1795, it certainly does. That's a pretty good haul you came across. I hardly ever see any sterling silverware, when I do it usually has a huge premium.
