Going through some old things today I found a long forgotten coin collection. In it there was this coin (?), does anyone have any idea what it is?

To be slightly narrower, it's one of a class of coins known as "Indian States coins", from sometime roughly between 1700 and 1900. Which state, and a narrower date range, can be tricky. These coins were hand-made, using dies that were much wider than the actual coins. So sometimes the important details you need to properly identify it are simply missing.

If you have a lot of time, you can search this site:

You may try to send a mail to Haseeb, he has helped me several times to indentify coins.
Very nice person!
