It's rare to find a nice middling-grade V-nick on the bay for a decent price. This one seemed to have a nice natural tone and no problems, so I went for it. What do you think?
Without a doubt a very nice coin. I have the complete set and it took YEARS to put it together in the VF condition that I was searching for. All have complete LIBERTY including the elusive "I." Your nickel would fit into the set very nicely. The minor streaks on the reverse plague these nickels, but still not a problem. Is this for a set or as a type? Congratulations, you did GOOD!
I'd go VF-35 easily.
Mid-grade nickels are TOUGH to locate. Best you grabbed it when you did.
